Rich is the sole founder of Retros existence. From humble beginnings repairing his own bay panel van on his Nanna and Grandads drive way, then taking on other peoples vehicles, this demand meant he had to grow the business over various stages to where Retro are today.
Rich can be found multi tasking between building engines in our engine room, tuning vehicles, welding, or even the occasional full rewire to name but a few.
He is the drive for everyone here at Retro HQ, along with being the supplier of fish + chips for everyone each Friday.
A title he hates, but he is the boss of the garage.
A selection of Richs fleet include a 1977 Bay window, 1969 Porsche 914, 1966 Ford F100, amongst others!

Rob is the man responsible for turning your rusty rotten wrecks back into solid rust free machines. Rob started off his career in the motor trade fitting tyres and exhausts. With a hunger for knowledge he picked up everything he could in this area. However, this wasn't enough so Rob went on to furthering his skills in welding and metalwork and now has multiple heritage restoration qualifications under his belt so when it comes to panel fitment, fabrication and quality welding, Rob is the guy at the top. With his eye for detail combined with his levels of effort there's nobody Retro would rather have on board for the job.
Robs retro fleet currently consists of a pair of Toyota MR2s, and currently just starting a rebuild on his Peugeot 205 Rallye.

Jim has spent his full working career in the motor trade. Firstly on modern vehicles, then moving into the classic car sector so he is heavily armed with knowledge on all marques of vehicle. Gaining motor trade qualifications in his earlier days he went on to pass his MOT inspectorate so you can be rest assured any vehicle in his grasp will be repaired to beyond a safe standard.
Jim is responsible for the refitting of vehicles restored and rebuilt by us and his eye for detail is second to none. On top of this, (just to keep him on his toes!) he is occasionally dragged from his refitting room into the main workshop to assist in other mechanical and general servicing jobs.
Jims current fleet consists of a 1971 Baja Beetle, 1987 T25 Camper, 1970 Wake caravan and an assortment of vintage bicycles.

Most recent to join the team, Andrew came to us with many years experience in the motor trade across varying sectors. This gives him a broad knowledge in many areas which is why he is responsible for all parts hunting for all projects and work along with keeping on top of office admin duties. Although he is the main point of contact when you call or email us, he also occasionally wears his ‘site maintenance’ badge to keep on top of the constantly evolving workshop.
Currently Andrew is in the last stages of rebuilding his classic 1979 Reliant Scimitar SE6a.

This worked well until she became spoilt and lazy and now spends most of her elderly age days lazing around in the sun! She generally tends to frequent the workshop at most break times but especially Friday dinnertime when fish + chips are present!
